K. Adam Avin

Attorney K. Adam Avin was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and graduated from Jesuit High School in 2001. In 2004, he graduated summa cum laude from Louisiana State University and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance with a concentration in Real Estate and Accounting.
Post-graduation, Adam attended law school through the Paul M Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University. While attending law school, Adam received a trial advocacy award and was recognized for his high grades through the Calli distinction. After a close friend and classmate passed away during a summer abroad program in 2005, Adam was inspired to organize and found the Joseph Ryan Loproto Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded annually to a student participating in the Law Center’s summer abroad program. Currently, Adam holds a position as the head of the Loproto Scholarship Steering Committee.
In 2007, Adam graduated from Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center with both a Juris Doctorate degree and a Bachelor of Civil Law degree.
After graduating from LSU Law, Adam joined the Allen & Gooch Law Firm as an associate in July of 2007. During his time at Allen & Gooch, Adam spent his time in the civil and commercial litigation sections, working primarily in the areas of products liability, contractual claims and business torts.
In October 2008, Adam joined the Irpino Law Firm where he has been focusing his practice on personal injury litigation. At Irpino Law, he has tried and settled cases that have involved personal injuries, hurricane storm damage claims, automobile accidents, employment discrimination, medical malpractice, insurance claims, products liability, wrongful death claims, contract disputes and complex multi-district tort actions.
Adam is admitted to practice before all Louisiana state and federal courts as well as the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Also, he is a member of several associations including the American Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association, the New Orleans Bar Association and the Young Leadership Council.
