Rina L. Eisenberg began her legal career in 2007, first working as a defense attorney on products liability, toxic tort, premises liability, and environmental actions. She has worked in many areas of law since, including environmental law, contract law, medical malpractice, and plaintiff’s personal injury. Ms. Eisenberg joined Irpino, Avin and Hawkins in 2018, where she currently works on mass tort and multidistrict litigation matters.
Ms. Eisenberg obtained her J.D. from Tulane University Law School in 2007. While attending Tulane, she received a certificate in environmental law and served as notes and comments editor for the Environmental Law Journal. She has been a member of the Louisiana State Bar since 2007, and was admitted to the California State Bar in 2014.
In 2018, Ms. Eisenberg received a Master’s of Public Health from San Diego State University Graduate School of Public Health, concentrating on environmental health. She received the honor of Outstanding Student in the Environmental Health Division, due in part to her leadership skills and exemplary writing. Her thesis and studies concentrated on air pollution and environmental justice, comparing particulate matter concentrations in southern San Diego county with wind speed and direction, and performing back trajectory models so as to determine patterns and potential patterns sources of air pollution in the region.
Presently, Rina is an active member of the Confidentiality Committee for MDL 2804, In re National Prescription Opiate Litigation.
