We’re proud to announce that Irpino, Avin & Hawkins partner Pearl A. Robertson spoke at this year’s Advanced eDiscovery Institute (AEDI), hosted by Georgetown Law in Washington, D.C., on November 20–21, 2025.
With over 70 featured speakers, including federal judges, corporate counsel, and AM Law 100 attorneys, AEDI continues to lead the national conversation on the evolving intersection of law, policy, and technology. This year’s conference focused heavily on the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on eDiscovery, data privacy, and litigation ethics.
AI, Privilege, and the Future of Legal Discovery
Pearl was a part of a thought-provoking panel titled "eDiscovery & AI: Potpourri". This session explored emerging questions that challenge traditional discovery frameworks, including:
- Are communications with AI tools protected by privilege?
- Can prompts or AI outputs qualify as work product?
- Who is the custodian of AI-generated business records?
- How does Agentic AI reshape discovery duties and liability?
A Voice for Plaintiffs in a Critical Conversation
As a mass tort and class action attorney, Pearl regularly works on national MDLs and class actions involving dangerous products, drug litigation, and public harm. Her appearance at AEDI highlights the importance of plaintiff-side perspectives in shaping the future of discovery protocols in AI-assisted litigation.
We’re honored she represented Irpino, Avin & Hawkins on such a prestigious stage.
