Dustin L. Poché is a New Orleans–based trial attorney who has built his practice around one core principle: being a strong, prepared advocate for his clients. Born and raised in the greater New Orleans area, Dustin understands the community he serves and brings that perspective into every case he handles.
After graduating from Jesuit High School, Dustin earned his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in 2007 and went on to receive his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Southern University Law Center in 2010. Following law school, he returned home to New Orleans and served as an Assistant District Attorney for Orleans Parish, where he gained extensive courtroom experience handling hearings, motions, and trials. That early trial exposure shaped his approach to litigation and instilled a deep appreciation for preparation, strategy, and advocacy.
Dustin transitioned into civil litigation with a focus on representing individuals and businesses in complex personal injury and property damage matters in both state and federal courts. He has further honed his trial skills through advanced training with the National Institute of Trial Advocacy, including programs focused on trial advocacy and depositions.
Today, Dustin actively litigates cases throughout Louisiana involving automobile and trucking accidents, wrongful death, premises liability, product liability, and hurricane and storm-related property damage claims. He is known for his hands-on approach, clear communication, and willingness to take cases through trial when necessary. Whether negotiating a resolution or presenting a case to a jury, Dustin is committed to protecting his clients’ interests and pursuing meaningful results.
Dustin is licensed to practice in Louisiana and Texas and is admitted to the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana. He holds Martindale-Hubbell’s AV Preeminent rating and was selected to the Louisiana Super Lawyers Rising Stars list in 2019 and 2020. He welcomes the opportunity to speak with individuals, businesses, or referring counsel to discuss potential cases or legal issues and to evaluate how he may be able to assist.
